It's time to party /

The London studio has just won a competitive creative pitch to create the new website for Notting Hill-based Lillingston Events. The company produces unique events for high net-worth individuals. They have arranged dinners in palaces and weekends at private stately homes, as well as weddings on romantic Italian cliff tops, banquets for film sets and parties in the depths of the desert. So if you're planning a soirée soon, they might just be the people to help!

November saw Atalanta launch an advertising campaign for the newly created City of Glasgow College. Calling on the Agency's extensive experience of the education sector, City of Glasgow College, formed from the merger of 3 of Glasgow's existing colleges, entrusted the Agency to devise and produce both an above the-line external advertising campaign together with an internal campaign aimed at staff. All concepts, photography, media planning and buying, and production were handled in a very short time.

After months in the studio, the latest big hit from the London studio has just hit the shops: The Xfm Top 1000 Songs off all time. Collated from the annual 'Top 1000 Songs of All Time' listener poll, the most requested songs on the 'X-list' and suggestions from radio DJs and celebrity guests, the book covers all our best-loved tracks with artwork and inside stories on what went into the making of the tracks.

The latest branding campaign for the University of the West of Scotland has been landed during Oct/Nov. Featuring photography of UWS students, the campaign embraces the concept that the students and university as working together to create a successful environment.

Media selected includes press, outdoor, underground, street graffiti and for the first time building projections.

The new website for Ondine Restaurant was launched on Monday 16th August and coincided with the promotion of a special weekend event in conjunction with J.Sheekey Restaurant in London. The Agency built the new site in tandem with the creation of new menus, stationery and online newsletter. Visit Ondine.

In association with our brand partners, Evolution, the London studio have completed the creative on the recently released State of the Nation from The Institute of Civil Engineers. The report is compiled each year by a panel of recognised experts drawn from the various fields of expertise across ICE's membership. It's issued to a wide range of stakeholders, including politicians, civil servants, local authorities, trade, regulatory and consumer bodies, as well as the media.

The London studio has just completed the first stage of a rebrand for Feel Films. Based in the heart of London's West End, Feel are a production company that produces work for advertising, film and television. They are currently pulling together the final pieces on a production of 'The Song of Names' based on the novel by Norman LeBrecht, winner of the Whitbread Prize, to be directed by Vadim Perelman (House of Sand & Fog). Released next year, it will star Sir Anthony Hopkins and Dustin Hoffman.

Atalanta brightens up

As part of the regeneration initiative in Paisley Town Centre, Atalanta has designed a series of shop front images which will assist in selling vacant shop premises to new retailers in the town's High Street.

The initiative, spearheaded by Renfrewshire Council, sees a unique partnership of private and public sector bodies and is the first time in the UK an innovative concept such as this has been introduced to such a traditional high street.

perfect again /

The London studio has completed work on Grace Notes 1959, a limited edition book of visual poetry. The book represents a personal response by poet Jim Carruth to four great jazz albums of 1959. The work was commissioned for the Glasgow Jazz Festival and launched prior to the festival with an exclusive reading, hosted by the poet himself. Nice.

The London studio has completed the design and art direction, including illustration duties, for a second title from E&T Books. A light-hearted look at life's little 'disasters', "Middle Class Nightmares" celebrates those memories some would rather forget and will delight anyone who has ever found themselves wishing that the ground would open up and swallow them whole.

The Fold, a recording studio in South East London, has just benefited from a rebrand courtesy of the London studio. Speech Debelle, winner of the 2009 Mercury Prize, is just one of the names to recently enjoy the facilities at The Fold. She described one of the best things about the venue being the vibe, which hopefully we've managed to capture in the free-flowing marque.

Situated in Glasgow's Bellahouston Park, and designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, House for an Art Lover offers a stunning location for Meetings, Conferences, Weddings and Private functions and has a restaurant open daily to the public.

The Agency is also looking at refreshing the presentation of the corporate identity.

Appointed after a creative pitch, the London studio have just put the finishing touches to a new publication by E&T Books; "The Game: How the City really works". It provides a light-hearted, objective and accessible insight into the City, its people and its machinations. Being that the target market was city-types, as well as those aspiring to gain a foothold there, the creative paid homage to that most financial of publications, the FT.
As they say, look out for "The Game" in all good bookshops soon.
